What Oscar stands for.

Oscar Green

Oscar only fetches AI when a job needs it.

Reduce. Simple jobs are done the simple way, with no AI at all.
Reuse. Oscar remembers what he learns, so he never digs up the same bone twice.
Recycle. Coming soon: your spare computers will lend a paw when clean energy is plentiful.

Oscar Secure

Oscar guards your home.

Kept on your computer. Your passwords, keys and sign-ins to your accounts are kept in the Windows credential store. Your notes and files stay on your computer.
Your permission. Oscar asks before he acts. You always have the final say.
On the lookout. Oscar stops and asks before he sends, pays or deletes anything.

Oscar Loyal

Oscar answers to you, and only you.

Local first. Your files and your vault stay on your computer. A request goes to a cloud AI service only when you ask something that needs one.
Free to choose. Oscar isn't tied to one AI company. He picks the best one for each job.
Your machines. Oscar runs on the Windows computer you already own, with nothing else to set up.

Oscar Good

Oscar is here to help, not to take.

Helps, never takes. Oscar solves real problems. He never chases your attention or your data.
A butler, not an artist. Oscar does the chores. He leaves art and therapy to people, and stays away from anything dangerous.
Fun again. Oscar makes your computer feel like yours again: quick, playful and on your side.
